M.Tech Transport and Technology is a 2-year postgraduate engineering program. The goal of this degree program is to provide both engineering and management aspects of transportation systems with an emphasis on on-road transportation. The training is well-known and in high demand, indicating that the industry’s growth potential is equally impressive.
Transportation engineering, also known as transport engineering, is that branch of technology and science that deals with the principles of planning, functional design, operation, and management of facilities for any mode of transportation in order to ensure the safe, efficient, rapid, comfortable, convenient, economical, and environmentally friendly transportation of people and goods.
The course deals with documenting, reviewing the existing or proposing transport development strategy planning at the city, town or state level. It is purely desk oriented and a very creative way to show your talent and skills. It deals with the improvisation of traffic planning, junction designing and signals to phase the urban city roads or Highways. It has been demanded all over the country for this time and I believe in future too as India is on its way to a developing nation.
